The Albese Calcio 1917 Amateur Sports Association is the main football club in Alba, in the province of Cuneo, and currently plays in the championship of Excellence in group A, the fifth level of Italian football. The playing field is the Stadio San Cassiano with a capacity of 2,000 spectators, but the team trains on the synthetic pitch Michele Coppino, with 750 seats inaugurated on 30 April 1922.LAlbese was born in 1917 with the name of Unione Sportiva Albese and for over 50 years it has grown steadily which makes it one of the best known in the region.
